mCig has closed escrow on the purchase of a 2.5 acre parcel in California City
mCig announced they have closed escrow on the purchase of a 2.5 acre parcel in California City, CA where they will develop a state-of-the-art 30,000 square foot cultivation facility, with an option to expand to 50,000 square feet and a 2,000 to 4,000 square foot manufacturing facility to create extracts, manufacture products, along with a distribution center that will be used to move products to retailers.
This expansion means mCig’s agriculture division, with its Hemp farms in New York and soon-to-be full-service cannabis facility in California, will officially be bi-coastal.
The licensed industrial Hemp farm, currently cultivated and planted, expects to harvest 800 plants per acre of the initial farmed 40-acres in its first harvest. In the same season, another 80-acre parcel is planned for the second harvest, with 800-1000 plants per acre.
**So what’s next? The CEO of mCig Group, Paul Rosenberg and CEO of the NYAcres Project, Tessa Edick, are a wealth of information, and can provide more details on mCig’s future plans, the cannabis industry in general, smart greenhouses, and how they are using technology (blockchain and mobile applications) to provide truly innovative solutions.
