Planet 13 Holdings Opens First Expansion With Planet 13 Orange County In Southern California
The dispensary features a 16,000 square foot showroom
Planet 13 Holdings, a Las Vegas based operator currently holding the record of the worlds largest dispensary, has opened their first out-of-state expansion with Planet 13 Orange County, located in Santa Ana California.
The dispensary features a 16,000 square foot showroom, an interactive touch-screen floor and wall-to-wall digital display for the entrance, a VW van with a smoked-out feature (Co-CEO Larry Scheffler’s personal VW bus), a 16 foot tall octopus, and much, much more.

Our Orange County SuperStore is designed to encompass all of the above,” Bob Groesbeck, Co-CEO of Planet 13 told Yahoo. “Orange County is home to 3 million people and has another 50 million visitors each year – making it a massive opportunity for consumer-focused cannabis brands. P13 OC is modelled after our extremely successful Las Vegas SuperStore, and with today’s announcement we look forward to offering consumers the Planet 13 retail experience, blended into the fabric of California.”
The SuperStore in Orange County will expand in a modular fashion similar to how Planet 13 Las Vegas is rolling out expansions including a social use lounge and nightclub. When all is said and done, Planet 13 Orange County hopes to employ 250+ workers across a variety of positions and through expansion hold the record for the largest dispensary in California.
We sat down with Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Planet 13 Holdings, Robert Groesbeck, about the recent expansion and future possibilities with the brand.
