The 16 page document goes over current regulations and guidelines
California Attorney General Xavier Becerra released a 16 page document that goes over current cannabis regulations and guidelines, but many are speculating it could mean more enforcement action be taken against illegal grows.
While the document does not state any new regulations, it does provide law enforcement with an extensive history on cannabis legislation and guidelines on how to deal with several issues, including medicinal cannabis.
“The Sheriff’s Office will continue to investigate and hold accountable those individuals and businesses that operate outside of the scope of the Medicinal and Adult-Use Cannabis Regulation and Safety Act,” said Lt. Erik Raney of the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office.
