California AB286 Passes B&P Committee Almost Unanimously, Now Headed To Appropriations Committee

The bill would suspend the cultivation and excise tax rates

In California, AB266 passed the Business and Professions Committee almost unanimously with only Sharon Quirk-Silva, a Democrat representing the 65th Assembly District which encompasses parts of northern Orange County, voting Nay. 3 members of the Assembly Committee on Business and Professions Committee did no participate in the vote.

The bill next heads to the Assembly Committee on Appropriations where it is expected to also pass.
