Hall Of Flowers Has Massive Opening Day In California

The 2 day B2B cannabis event concludes in Sonoma Country today

Hall of Flowers, northern California’s premiere cannabis trade show held at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds, held it’s largest day ever with day 1 of the 2 day event featuring 2 full halls of some of the largest name brands in California cannabis as well as some of the biggest speakers in the industry.

With sampling for retailers was provided by brands via a ticketing system, with buyers able to try samples by making the sample purchase via Showgrow, processed by the Treez point of sale platform. “It’s been fantastic” said John Yang, CEO of Treez software, “and day 2 is only going to get better.”

Hall of Flowers wasn’t just all sampling cannabis and talking deals, Hall of Flowers speaker session was in full swing this year with such speakers as Berner from Cookies & Bobby Hundreds from lifestyle brand The Hundreds talking ‘Creating a Retail Experience & Lifestyle Brand’. Comedian extraordinaire Chelsea Handler discussed changing stigmas by opening up about her own love of cannabis and what brought her into the industry.

As the sun set on day 1 of Hall of Flowers, the after parties got into full swing with brands like PAX, F/ELD, and WeedMaps all hosting exclusive invite-only parties for buyers in the industry. Retailers got the VIP treatment from the top players in cannabis with open bars, open food, and openly shared cannabis well into the night.

Day 2 opens tomorrow at 11am, and concludes tomorrow evening at 6pm. For any readers on site, the following is tomorrows speaker schedule:
