Incredible First Day Of Hall Of Flowers Capped By Powerful Gary Vaynerchuk Keynote

The event launched yesterday at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa California

Hall of Flowers, the cannabis B2B trade show that’s been taking northern California by storm, capped off its inaugural day at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in beautiful Santa Rosa California yesterday. The event featured onsite retail sales by ShowGrow, which was powered by GreenBits, as well as a massive outdoors consumption lounge to test new products complete with food trucks, plenty of seating space, and a Banana Bros Otto grinder station so you can take your newly acquired product and make a joint to try.

John Yang, Co-Founder, and CEO of Treez, told Marijuana Retail Report he fell in love with the grassroots nature of the event. “I think day one went incredible,” he said, “I think it’s rare to attend an event where you aren’t bombarded with advertisements… it’s genuine.” and it was a sentiment that seemed to be shared around the event. Every vendor we talked to seemed to say the same thing, ‘Hall of Flowers is the place to be’.

Industry professionals begin the day at Hall of Flowers

The day capped off with an empowering keynote from serial entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk of Vayner Media who also echoed the grassroots sentiment. “By a show of hands, how many people have been in the cannabis space either cowboy-esk or professionally for more than 5 years?” 95% of the crowd raised their hands “10?” The hands stayed raised. “This is the foundation of the industry….. you are the OG’s”

In the end, he opened up the floor to a 16 minute Q&A session. The very first question was about a recent issue with Elon Musk and Tesla having gotten hit in the stocks due to Elon’s smoking of a blunt on The Joe Rogan Experience. “A couple thing’s went through my mind. First, I think that Elon doesn’t give a fuck.” Gary responded “I think Elon understands brand, I think Elon lost some points with people who are about to die, and won a ton of points with people that aren’t even born yet.”

As today is the last day for you to catch the event, make sure you come down between 11am to 6pm so you don’t miss out on any of the action.
