Cannabis Hiring Titan Vangst Snaps Up Weed Temp Agency Greenforce

This deal marks Vangst’s second acquisition of 2024

Denver-based cannabis hiring powerhouse Vangst is getting bigger! The company has scooped up Greenforce, a cannabis temporary staffing agency that operates in Oregon and Arizona.

No financial terms were disclosed.

Greenforce founder and CEO Ryan Rosenfeld is coming on board as chief business officer of Vangst. Rosenfeld will focus on Vangst’s regional and national expansion. His role begins immediately.

Founded in 2016, Greenforce provides harvesting, cultivation, trimming, and other temporary labor services to licensed cannabis businesses.

This deal marks Vangst’s second acquisition of 2024. Earlier this year, Vangst acquired CannabizTemp, the temporary staffing division of CannabizTeam.

In a public statement, Rosenfeld was effusive about Greenforce’s next chapter with Vangst. “This transaction will give us the opportunity to expand more aggressively than ever before, provide an even more superior experience to our customers and workforce, and most importantly, continue to uplift the cannabis industry,” he said.
