When a week passed without a single application for a medical marijuana business license in Sioux Falls, industry officials said not to pay much attention to it — the applications would come eventually.
They were right.
As of 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 15, the city’s licensing office had received a total of 25 applications for licenses to operate a medical marijuana dispensary, with the window to submit them closing that day at 5 p.m.
