Blue Zushi Takes Top Honors At First Annual Zalympix In Los Angeles
The event was filled with celebrity appearances
Los Angeles legacy operator Greenwolf hosted their first ever annual Zalympix awards event on Saturday night. Greenwolf transformed Candela La Brea in Los Angeles into a true old-school style industry event right in the heart of the Miracle Mile complete with performances by OHGEESY, Tyla Yaweh, Demrick, and legendary producer Scott Storch.
The event was filled with celebrity appearances along with some of the top brands and operators in the Californian marketplace and doubled at a 7th anniversary bash for Greenwolf. After a rigorous judging process, the stage was set for the winners to be announced. Contestants competed for Best Overall, Best Tasting, Best Looking, Best Terps, Most Gassy and Most Potent.
“It was an idea we thought of a few months ago,” Greenwolf Co-Founder Brian told L.A. Weekly. “We plan on making it a little bit more streamlined and bigger as they roll out because we got an overwhelming response from cultivators and brands, as well as the public.” he went on to say “Yeah. I mean, I don’t want to sound like I’m being egotistical, but I think this has to be,” agreed Brian. “I mean, High Times and stuff are good. But like the caliber of competitors, I’ve never seen one like this.”

While the competition was fierce, the victors were clear this year. LoKey Farms and Alien Labs took several awards, Cali Kush Farms took first place in looks with their beautiful Z41. But at the end of the night it was Zushi x The TENCo with their Blue Zushi that took top honors.
