Californian Brand Shryne Group Inc. Plans Upscale Gentleman’s Club & Dispensary in Sacramento
Shryne Group Inc. owns the ultra popular STIIIZY brand
An older strip club on Richards Boulevard in Sacramento could become home to a new pot shop and updated gentleman’s club concept.
The team behind one of California’s larger cannabis companies has its sights on transforming a 61,000-square-foot building at 851 Richards Blvd. into a pair of new businesses.
Earlier this month, Brian Mitchell, CEO of Los Angeles-based Shryne Group Inc., filed planning documents with the city of Sacramento seeking to open a new cannabis dispensary on the site. Shryne Group holds a vast footprint of cannabis businesses across California, spanning cultivation, manufacturing, distribution and retail operations. The company produces its own products, under its STIIIZY brand, and operates seven dispensaries across the state, including a store in Davis.
The new gentleman’s club would operate under the STIIIZY cannabis brand, and the exterior of the building would have the STIIIZY label, according to planning documents filed with the city of Sacramento. The club is described as an “upscale gentleman’s club concept” that is “a missing piece” of Downtown Sacramento’s economy.
