Connecticut Cannabis Sales Hit $14 Million Last Month
Recreational cannabis sales in August exceeded $14 million
Cannabis sales in Connecticut continue to rise, but states that legalized first and which allow more robust consumer experiences continue to outpace Connecticut in recreational cannabis sales.
The state Department of Consumer Protection announced Monday that recreational cannabis sales in August exceeded $14 million, up a bit less than $1 million since July.
In total, combined data showed sales of both recreational and medical cannabis hit nearly $25 million in August. Medical cannabis sales increased as well since July, but it was a far more modest increase, from $10.6 million to $10.93 million in August.
