Perfect Union Expands California Cannabis Retail Footprint; Opens New Dispensary In Napa
The retailer has managed profitable cannabis businesses for over a decade
Today, Perfect Union, one of California’s largest and most-respected cannabis operators, launched a new retail storefront in Napa (1760 Industrial Way, Suite A, Napa, 94558), marking its eleventh branded dispensary in the world’s largest regulated market.
The retailer has over a decade of experience managing profitable cannabis businesses; navigating state and local laws and regulations; and adding value to the communities where they operate. They have a proven track record of building engagement, social welfare and outreach programs that focus on local partnerships, monetary investments and in-store donation campaigns.
“Providing guests compassionate care while investing back into the communities we’re proud to serve drives our mission, culture and bottom line,” said Perfect Union CEO David Spradlin. “Napa is a jewel in California’s crown, and we can’t wait to provide residents and tourists quality cannabis products, consumer education and one-on-one service in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere they can trust.”
The new 2,000 square foot retail space is one-quarter of a mile from the Bel Aire Shopping Plaza and minutes from some of California’s most award-winning vineyards. The new medical dispensary also provides over a dozen local jobs with above living wages and benefits, as well as the support and protection afforded to United Food and Commercial Workers International Union (UFCW) workers.
Perfect Union is also the first unionized dispensary in Napa and was one of the first in the nation to partner with UFCW to ensure a living wage and health benefits to hourly employees. They also led the industry in providing hazard bonus pay for employees during COVID-19 and calling for vaccine prioritization of essential cannabis workers.
“With a proven track record in community engagement and championing their employees, Perfect Union is a welcome addition to the Napa community,” said Napa City Councilmember Bernie Narvaez. “They set a high standard for quality in everything they do, and I look forward to our continued work towards ensuring Napa remains a great place to live, work and play.”
Today’s news builds on the tremendous growth the company has experienced over the last 18 months, including:
- Opening seven new California retail storefronts (Seaside, Riverbank, Morro Bay, Turlock, Weed, Shasta Lake and Ukiah) for a total of eleven locations (Sacramento (2), Marysville and Napa)
- Building out their second cannabis cultivation project in Colfax, Calif.
- Launching a charitable Community Fund tied to its in-house 530 Grower flower brand
- Successful closing of a Series B Preferred Private Placement for aggregate gross proceeds of USD$10.8 million
“Perfect Union’s rapid growth, despite a global pandemic, continues to be fueled by strategic expansion anchored to our mission and values,” said Spradlin. “Our profitability and ability to create positive change in the community sets us apart, and we are well positioned to become California’s largest wholly-owned cannabis company.”
