22 Applicants In Florida Were Approved For MMTC Licenses
They will receive their “letters of intent to approve”
On Tuesday, the state’s Office of Medical Marijuana Use announced 22 out of the original 74 companies were selected to receive “letters of intent to approve” their license applications. This marks a significant step forward for the companies hoping to enter Florida’s expanding medical cannabis market.
In Florida, medical cannabis dispensaries operate as MMTCs, providing a range of services from cultivation to dispensing medical marijuana to qualified patients. The announcement brings new players into the fold, further shaping the landscape of medical cannabis access in the state.
The applicants that were selected are:
- A Good Decision
- Alamanda Farms
- East Coast Packers
- FG Operating Florida
- Florida Sports Consultants (doing business as Belushi’s Farm Florida)
- Gates Housing Group
- Global Investment Group (dba Infinite Wellness)
