Fluent Sells New York Cannabis License And Certain Operations
The undisclosed buyer is described as an “experienced operator.”
Fluent, a vertically integrated, multi-state cannabis company, today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement with a third party operator to sell Etain, its operating entity in New York.
The deal, which was entered into on July 22, 2026, includes the sale of Etain’s registered organization license, certain of the its New York operating assets and associated leases in New York in exchange for cash consideration.
Fluent said it believes the transaction advances its strategic objectives and expects it will support the satisfaction of applicable regulatory requirements in connection with the its previously announced plan of arrangement involving Vireo Growth. It also said the deal will provide for an orderly transition of the New York operations to an “experienced operator committed to serving patients and consumers.”
