Farmers Cup 2025: San Diego County’s First Licensed Cannabis Event

They hope to bring together enthusiasts, cultivators, and innovators

On March 15, history will be made in Vista’s Moonlight Amphitheatre: the 2025 Farmers Cup will become the first state and locally licensed cannabis event in San Diego County. This highly anticipated gathering — formally titled The Farmers Cup Awards Sesh: Harvest Edition — will bring together industry professionals, cannabis connoisseurs, and music lovers for a day packed with competition, community, and complimentary tokes and hits. Live performances from weed-centric artists will help set the vibe for a music festival packed with hits, riffs, and spliffs.

The event marks a milestone for the cannabis industry, as both sales and on-site consumption will be permitted. (Cake House Dispensary will handle all purchases exclusively, to help ensure compliance with California’s strict regulations.)

“This will be a cannabis adventure that sparks curiosity and brings together enthusiasts, cultivators, and innovators,” says Joshua Caruso, co-founder and CEO of the Farmers Cup. “The City of Vista has welcomed us, and we’re ecstatic to be hosting this historic event.”
