In Michigan, Lume Cannabis Rolls Out Delivery Service
Orders can be placed on the company’s website and must meet certain criteria
Monroe County Michigan’s first recreational adult-use marijuana store is now rolling up to consumers’ houses. Lume Cannabis Co. launched a home delivery service Friday morning, servicing most communities in the county.
Called Lume Delivery, the program discreetly delivers cannabis products to adult recreational users, according to a statement from the company.
Lume sells a variety of marijuana products, including buds, pre-rolls, topicals and various edibles.
Located in Petersburg, the company opened its retail store at 15205 Tandem Court earlier this month. It is the first such facility in the county following the establishment and regulation of recreational marijuana businesses in the state after a voter initiative legalized the industry in 2018.
Doug Hellyar, president and COO of Lume, said the company is excited to start the service from its Petersburg store.
“At Lume, we take great pride in offering a customer experience that can’t be replicated by our competitors,” he said. “That’s why we’re so excited to launch Lume Delivery at our Petersburg store for our recreational customers.”
Orders can be placed on the company’s website and must meet certain criteria. The total order must exceed $125 before tax; customers must pay with a debit card or cash and they must enter their desired delivery address upon checkout.
