Coldwater Michigan Cannabis Store Fined By State Regulators

There was a 34-day recording gap

The Michigan Cannabis Regulatory Agency (CRA) has fined Mint Cannabis in Coldwater $8,000 after state inspectors discovered the business went more than a month without recording required security camera footage.

According to state records, a routine semiannual inspection on December 22, 2025, revealed that the store’s video surveillance system was entirely down.

Regulators later determined that a 34-day recording gap occurred between November 18 and December 21, 2025, violating Michigan rules that mandate cannabis establishments to retain surveillance footage for at least 30 days.
