Affinity Grow Gets Approval For Retail Cannabis Store In Portland Connecticut

Affinity Grow is also seeking permission to sue the state

The Portland Planning and Zoning Commission has approved an application by MCEJV LLC, which operates as Affinity Grow, to open a retail cannabis location at 338 Airline Ave.

The company operates a cannabis micro-cultivation facility at 47 Lower Main St. It previously received approval for cannabis operations, delivery services and business offices at the Airline Avenue site. In its application, the company said the building’s footprint would not change.

The proposed business would sell regulated cannabis to customers 21 and older, with walk-in service and pickup orders placed in advance. On-site consumption would not be allowed.

The business would use the site’s existing space, parking, security systems and other infrastructure, with no significant changes to the building’s exterior or the property’s overall character.
