With such high ratings and Instagram worthy pictures, I came into this shop with extremely high expectations, but I walked out with an underwhelming experience. Tucked away in the corner of a shopping plaza was the aesthetically beautiful Jardin Premium Cannabis Dispensary of Las Vegas. Its lobby layout and the ambiance creates an enjoyable environment to bask in. It caters to a high-end service and it does not disappoint in aesthetics and ambiance. The check in was quick and relatively smooth, and had no issues getting into the budroom in under 5 minutes. The door to get into the budroom is a secret wall entrance that is clearly meant to add an aura of exclusivity to the experience. The layout of the budroom was clear and concice . High-quality menu’s were readily available both on the walls and over the cannabis in the display, though it can be confusing as to what was available in grams or not as every strain I asked for I was told they had in 8th only. While it’s entirely possible that this was simply due to being out of stock in most of the hybrids and sativa’s, it was disappointing nonetheless. For flower they had around 10 total available strains and most of those were Indica at the time.
Maybe I came on an off day, and maybe they were simply light on inventory at the wrong time for me. I feel like I was missing something, and I intend on going back to see if it was just a fluke. The cannabis I ended up selecting, Ghost Train Haze by Greenway Medical, was the only strain available in a gram. The quality was okay, but nothing really great. I got a free joint of Snake Venom OG by Green Therapeutics. The Ghost Train Haze was wonderful. The only problem I had with the preroll was that it was a bit dried out and had a ‘best consumption by date’ of March 6 (I was there in mid May). I would have been disappointed if I had paid for it, but not as a freebie. The labels were also slapped on without a care in the world as to someone wanting to read this information. I consider this to be a great disservice to the patient. Especially with how slow their shop was, you’d think the tender would take care considering this was my first time at their shop.
Overall, there’s friendly staff, great interior and exterior decor. Still, there’s that special something missing when it came to the flower selection. I do wish for a special touch and quality when it came to labeling as well as having a smell-proof carrying bag that broke upon trying to open it for the first time. I’m going to rate this a little higher than as was shown to me because I feel as though it was a fluke, but i’m going to go back, and plan on updating this review. I feel like they had an off day, and I want to give them a second chance since everyone speaks so highly of them.
