Mendocino County Dispensary Announces Cannabis Contest, Kure Mendocino Invitational

The Invitational kicks off on Sept. 10th

Russell Green, founder and CEO of three Mendocino County-based dispensaries, continues to showcase, market and distribute, county-grown cannabis flowers, in an effort to broaden his audience.

Despite Green’s efforts, very little of his products are sold south of Sonoma County. To address this issue, he has created the Kure Mendocino Invitational. The contest will welcome 28 local, licensed farms to participate and will provide testing, packaging, manufacturing and marketing, to ensure that it is a fair game. Customers will then vote to determine the premiere county cultivators.

The Invitational kicks off on Sept. 10 with a farmers-only informational supper held at Kure’s Lake  Mendocino Drive store. Interested attendees should contact Kure to RSVP.
