OLCC Recalls Some Cannabis Products From 3 Producers Over Mold, Other Contaminants
The cannabis was sold at 75 different retailers from January to June 22, 2023
Oregon officials are recalling several batches of marijuana flower that tested positive for mold and heavy metals.
The Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission (OLCC) found some batches of cannabis and pre-rolls that tested positive for aspergillus (mold) and others that had cadmium and mercury.
The cannabis was sold at 75 different marijuana retailers from January 2023 to June 22, 2023. The products have since been pulled from shelves.
The OLCC said the products under the recall are as follows:
Greenworks Farms
- Cin X – harvested January 2023, tested February 2023 – Mercury
- Golden Glue – harvested January 2023, tested February 2023 – Mercury
Nectar Markets, LLC
- Blueberry Muffin – Harvested October 2022; Tested April 2023 – Cadmium and Aspergillus
- Deadhead OG – Harvested November 2022; Tested April 2023 – Aspergillus
- Frosted Hog – Harvested November 2022; Tested April 2023 – Aspergillus
- Orange Crush – Harvested October 2022; Tested April 2023 – Aspergillus
- Papaya Punch – Harvested November 2022; Tested May 2023 – Aspergillus
- Purple Punch – Harvested October 2022; Tested April 2023 – Aspergillus
- Sour Secret – Harvested October 2022; Tested April 2023 – Aspergillus

- Mafia Funeral – Harvested October 2022; Tested January 2023 – Aspergillus
The state said that the licensed marijuana companies followed the state’s testing requirements for products harvested before March 1, 2023.
