New York Recalls Cannabis Products After Lab Issues Unreliable Test Results
OCM conducted inspections and a records audit this past December and January
The New York State Office of Cannabis Management has issued a recall of multiple adult-use cannabis products tested by Keystone State Testing New York.
The state recently determined that the laboratory reported unreliable test results that failed to meet state safety standards. The products, sold through licensed adult-use dispensaries across New York State, must be immediately removed from sale and distribution as the investigation continues.
The Office of Cannabis Management conducted inspections and a records audit this past December and January. It found that Keystone State Testing New York “issued unreliable test results for several adult-use cannabis products.”
As a result, the agency said that “products tested by this laboratory may not have met required state safety and testing standards.”
